Summer Skin Day launches on 22nd November

Summer Skin Day is a one day event devoted to summer skincare. Come in for your complimentary skin diagnosis and personalised skincare solution. Everyone’s invited, no appointment necessary.

Why is a summer skincare solution important?

The change of season is an important time to update your skincare solution.  Over the summer months your skin is exposed to warmer weather, increased humidity and increased time spent outdoors in the sun. The seasonal change can influence the skin in many ways:

  • Warmer weather stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum resulting in an oiler skin.
  • Increased sun exposure generates free radical activity in the skin which can interfere with cell regeneration and repair.
  • Increased humidity can result in dehydration due to increased perspiration. A lack of moisture can interfere with the skins natural exfoliation enzymes contributing to clogged pores and breakouts.

Due to these seasonal changes the focus for a summer skincare solution should be exfoliation, hydration, protection from free radical damage and suncare.

Exfoliation will play a key role in controlling excess oil, accumulated dead skin cell build up and improve the absorption of products to improve hydration.

Boosters are the essential products for summer to improve hydration and deliver superior free radical protection.

Suncare is important daily, to help prevent the signs of premature ageing and protect against long-term sun damage.
